Hockey for Alex's team has ended we were put out by Oakville on wed night, but we still have some practices and exhibitions games. And contrary to what a few people in our lives believe, when you join a rep team YOU go to EVERY practice and game including exhibition games. ;) Otherwise, you may not make it the following year. Besides getting alex to miss any ice time would be next to impossible!!! He loves it more then we do and for those of you that know us, you know how dedicated we are as hockey parents!! Both boys are winding down with this years hockey teams, but they both have spring activities going on. Ben has ball hockey starting and Alex has 3 on 3 ice hockey as well as baseball.
Next year Ben will be starting Novice hockey and he is pretty excited about it. Means games every week!!! This year was his final fundimental year and they only got to play a handful of games. I have to say it has been amazing to see him improve throughout the season! GO BENNY GO!!!!
I have field hockey starting in a few months. Yep I joined a rec league in Waterloo. I loved playing in highschool days before I went off to university drank beer, ate out and did nothing. I have another girlfriend thinking about joining me too. Should be a good time. I bought my stick again today. Both my kids are like WHATS THAT?? lol Good times ahead I'm sure!!!!
So we are arena free today right? Yeah not so much we decided to go watch the Major Novice team kick some butt ;) We're rink rats what can I say???
