Merry Christmas...

Christmas Eve...

So this Christmas Eve the boys got to open a gift from my side of the family! It was their Nintendo Ds's and wow they were excited! Problem...Benny's didn't work. NO JOKE. OMG the kid was soooooooooooo upset. BUT I remember (and thank god I did) that Shopper Drug Mart in town was open till 10pm (and this was 7:30pm), so I called and GUESS WHAT!!!!! They had 3 in stock! Yep I ran down and grabbed one! Guess I'll be waiting in line to return something to walmart ;) Upon looking at the dang thing we realized it probably had been returned already and they just tossed it back on the shelf. Yeah I know... never shop there, but thats the first bad experience I've had with them.

But life is good...and Ben is happy now ;) hehe

We've been tracking Santa on Norad tonight!!! Fun stuff! I love travelling and so do the boys!

Well we're just waiting for Santa to arrive ;)

Is back up and running!

Busy around here! Just finishing off a hockey run. Alex's team got to play in the Kitchener Aud tonight on the Ice that the OHL Kitchener Rangers play on! What a blast! They won too! Alex and Evan (the other goalie) each played 1/2 a game! Fun stuff! We just got in from watching Tim play hockey! They won and Tim even got a goal! (go timmy go)!!!!!

So I need to list seven random or weird facts about myself...

1. I am allergic to a few things but the weirdest two...birds YES birds and chamomile. How do I know chamomile??? oh because my massage therapist but some chamomile cream on my back and I broke out in hives. Yeah it was fun...not ;)
2. My kids and hubby are my life :) Their sports too ;) hehe
3. The whole family is a bunch of rink rats all winter. We even go see our friends, kids games and we're diamond (as in ball diamond) rats all summer!!!
4. I try to read something positive every day! Weather its just quotes or I manage to find 15mins to read an article or a bit of a book.
5. My fav colour is pink. I never scrapbook with it and hardly wear it, but pink is my fav colour!
6. I'm a romantic. Trust me you'd never know, but I am
7. My fav thing to do is go look at lights at night. Weather its in the big city and just looking at the sky scrappers lite up or looking at christmas lights every where (which is totally my thing to do) thats my FAVOURITE thing to do!

I need to load up photos from the tournament! I got a few good ones :)

Today I'm going to try and hit the kids xmas concert at school. Its only open in the day this year which sucks for people that work full time. ( like tim) but I'm hoping he can make it over! The boys really want us both to be there. :(

The other night I took the boys on an impromptu drive to look at the xmas lights! We loaded up in our pj's, blankets on them, snacks and off we went! Was awesome! Glad we did that monday night too before last nights little rain shower. Although more snow today I hear.

Well we're off and running for the day...

6 years ago today....

We moved into this house :) It snowed a lot the night before and was a messy move! I can't believe it has been SIX years! Benny was 4months old, Alex was three!!! Time flies! We still love this house too, lots we still want to do, but this house is us.

Trying to catch up around here. Ben has been sick. He has had a nasty hacking cough for 3 to 4 weeks now, finally got a chest xray. Apparently it was clear, so they put him on puffers to see if that would help. That kid is way to excited to take puffers though! LOL The cold air is really bothering him :(

Hockey tonight ... Elmira's Moonlight madness sale too tonight :) Maybe some shopping?? I do have a few more xmas gifts to complete!

Was a blast! We decided to get a subway all day pass and just TTC'd it around for the day/night. Yorkville was amazing! We even found the Whole Food Market and it was AMAZING!!!!! Mind you if we had one here my grocery bill would be twice as much as normal ;) lol But somethings are just worth it! We went back up there at night too! Yorkville was just lite up!

Nathan Phillips Square had changed too. I have pics but they're on my phone camera. I didn't want to haul around my big camera. The highlight was the Christmas tree in the Eaton Centre!!! It was a Swarovski wish tree in the eaton centre!!! OMG INSANE AND BEAUTIFUL!!!
